What is Copyright Material and How to Use YouTube Free Music from YouTube Library
To earn money on YouTube, we need to create our own videos and meet all the YouTube rules and monetisation eligibility requirements.
You can't use someone else's video in the content you create. Similarly, you can't use someone else's music either, as that counts as copyright material.
However, you can use it under the fair use policy. More information about fair use is provided below.
When creating videos, you can use music or songs from others, but keep in mind that any revenue generated from those videos will go to the owners of the songs, not to you.
This means that even if your channel doesn't face any issues, you won't earn any money from it due to copyright claims.
So, when you're making a video and need background music, it's a good idea to use the music available in the YouTube library.
This music is completely free, and any revenue from your video will go to you.
If you accidentally use someone else's music and get a copyright claim, you can simply remove that music and replace it with YouTube free music from the YouTube library.
How to Remove Copyright Claim and Strike on YouTube videos
What is Fair Use Policy:
Fair use policy allows you to use a few seconds of someone else's copyrighted material in your video.
This should serve as a reference. It can be used for educational or entertainment purposes. However, the fair use clip or music should not harm or troll the original video owner.
Even if you use just one second of their video, the owner has the right to claim copyright.
Therefore, you can use someone else's video or music under fair use to generate revenue, as long as it does not affect anyone negatively.
